How to Add an Email as a 2FA Option on Pennsylvania's Sales TaxPortal

To increase the security of your Pennsylvania sales tax portal account, you can add a secondary two-factor authentication (2FA) method using your email. Here's how to do it:

1. Log in to Pennsylvania myPATH

• Go to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue myPATH login page.
• Enter your username and password, then click Log In.
  

2. Open Your Profile Settings

• Once logged in, click Manage My Profile from your account homepage.

3. Access Two-Step Verification Settings

• Under Profile settings, click Change Two-Step Settings.

4. Add a New Email Address

• Click Add Email.
  

5. Enter Your BreezyFile Authentication Email

• In the email field, enter the BreezyFile authentication email address we provided (example: your-store@authentication.breezyfile.com).
• Click Save.

6. Save the Email Address

• On the confirmation screen, click save to proceed.

7. Retrieve the Security Code

• PA myPATH will send a one-time code to your BreezyFile authentication email.
• In BreezyFile, open the Authentication Emails section to view the code.

8. Enter the Code in myPATH

• Copy the code from BreezyFile and paste it into the Security Code field on the PA verification screen.
• Click Confirm.

9. After you confirm, you'll see your new email listed as a 2FA option

10. Update State Settings in BreezyFile

• If you clicked away from your PA settings in BreezyFile, go to your Nexus States list.
• Click Edit for Pennsylvania and confirm the email is now linked for authentication.
